Our Mission

When we started thinking about starting our clothing brand we knew it had to be in line with our believes and standards. It was important to us that we can proudly stand behind our every word and action. We wanted to create a clean business, transparent and trustworthy. All of the traits that we appreciated in others.

Therefore, first thing was to make sure our business and brand were sustainable. That meant we had to know exactly where our business is coming from and who are the other companies and suppliers that we were gonna cooperate with. It took us months trying to find the fabric manufacturers, we researched their business and their suppliers. Fields and crops background. How they handled their employers and how will they most importantly fit into our work.

Secondly, we worked on our designs. Organic fabrics were the leading component in our decision making. We had to say goodbye to many designs as there were no fabrics fit for their making. GOTS certified fabrics were our main goal.

*GOTS certificate (meaning):

The Global Organic Textile Standard ensures the organic status of textiles from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing all the way to labelling, in order to provide credible assurances to the consumer. The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70 percent certified organic natural fibres. The final fibre products may include, but are not limited to, yarns, fabrics, clothes and home textiles.

Minimising waste is a top priority. So we opted for the most sustainable production we could sustain. Order-production-delivery system. We have models displayed on our web shop, however, we have no stock. The only thing we have before the orders are fabrics. When an order comes through we start the process of production. Because of that, our customers have an option of customising their measurements making sure our garments fit them perfectly. We find this to be a great way of business organisation as we minimise the potential waste and overproduction.

The fashion aspect of our brand was always envisioned as comfortable, minimalistic and timeless. As we do not support, following trends and over consumerism, it comes with, we design pieces that can be worn in different ways for years to come. With proper care, organic garments can least you a long time. If you want to know more about how to properly take care of your clothes visit Care page on our web shop.

Sustainability and Dive's mission will always evolve and we will work hard to make it better. Together we can change how we view fashion and we can support those who are willing to be a transparent business, after all, we as customers deserve to know where our money is going and how it is being used.
